Beyond our expectations

"And everyone who has left houses or brothers

or sisters or father or mother or children

or fields for my sake will receive

a hundred times as much and will inherit eternal life. "

When we chose a life of serving God on the missionfield, we accepted that the beautiful life that we had in the West was over. To some degree that was and is true, but we are learning even more that it is impossible to out give the Lord.

Sometimes the Lord blesses us beyond our expectations, and shows His amazing love in beautiful and extravagant ways.

For the second year in a row, we are staying in the most beautiful house in all of Holland.

It's still hard to believe that the owners don't ask for any payment, and are happy for the chance to be a blessing to missionaries serving overseas.

A blessing indeed.
