Hello faithful readers!
I havn't blogged for ages ... time does fly but there is a reason ...
I am struggling with the whole "my-heart-on-my-shoulder-in-public-space" thing ... I began this BLOG as an opportunity to both share my life and process my thoughts, and it has been great for both. But I wasn't really ready for the fact that it all becomes public and everyone has a right to comment, think and share an opinion. And sometimes that's a bit hard to hear.
I guess I am wondering if my blogging time is over and this should die.
Appreciate your comments!
Love Maaike

have been wondering where you were!
i set my blog so all the comments go to my email account first, then i can choose to publish them or not. i think there might be an option to not allow comments? i'm not sure. but i guess that still doesn't stop peoples thoughts and comments in real life.
i ususally write my post on a word doc off line, then copy and paste the next time i'm at the internet, so there is always some time in between writing and posting, time to change my mind.
was there something in particular that made you think about this?
perhaps if you wanted to keep blogging you could do so but only write certain things?
its a bit scarey all this information sharing on the net...
also, you can set your blog to only those you invite can see it, look under "settings"
Hey lovey. Sorry to hear you're thinking of shutting down. I really love hearing where you are at and what's on your heart. Moderation sounds like a good option.. which may stop some from even writing. I saw Janae do a blurb on facebook.. maybe that's an option too... Love you, Lisa
Hi Mish, you can't be serious. You have a God given gift for writing and we all love reading about your everyday life over there. It is certainly different from Australia.
Don't let the crack pots get to you.
Pick yourself up and dust yourself down and get into it again girl.
Your Mum
Depends on your purpose for blogging. Is it so that you can unload your thoughts and feelings or is it so that you don't have to tell the same story 50 million times?
Ask your Father what He would have you do and let us know.
ditto what Mum said... xxxx

Your insight into life and obvious love and concern for those around you in a very difficult environment are a challenge and inspiration to us all. Please continue to share your thoughts and concerns so we can participate with you. Thank you for your openness and honesty.
God Bless you and your family.
Hey Maaike
My name is Linda and I have met you just once, at Lisa's place three years ago. I came across your blog through a link from hers. I too blog, www.paperlesspages.com/blog and follow the directions of the first comment. Some posts seem to attract attention. "To Cambodia, with love" was not a good title for me. But I have restrictions on who can comment. Great to see you are out there. I've been encouraged.
